Pikes Peak Pet Pantry - Helping people keep their pets home.
The Pikes Peak Pet Pantry is a pending 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing temporary pet food assistance to citizens in Colorado Springs and its surrounding area. The concept of the Pantry began in September 2007, after our founder saw an increase in people needing help with the cost of their animals. Since January 22, 2008 we have given out 9,842 pounds of pet food to Colorado residents.
The Pikes Peak Pet Pantry is dedicated to providing assistance to pet owners facing hardship; so they may keep their beloved pets instead of finding them a new home or relinquishing them to a shelter due to temporary financial difficulties. We welcome cash donations as well as dry and canned cat and dog food and cat litter.
