Here is a list of items the Pikes Peak Pet Pantry needs in order to help as many families as possible:

  • coupons for or samples of dog food, cat food, and litter
  • small to large bags of dry cat food-opened, unopened, or recently expired within the past 3-4 days
  • small to large bags of dry dog food-opened, unopened, or recently expired within the past 3-4 days
  • small to large cans of wet dog food-unopened
  • small to large bags or containers of cat litter-opened, unopened, or recently expired within the past 1-2 weeks
  • (4) 24 oz aluminum feed scoops (EXAMPLE)
  • (2) 58 oz aluminum feed scoops (EXAMPLE)
  • contractor bags
  • duct tape
  • office and/or warehouse space; between 300-500 sq ft with room to expand in southern or central Colorado Springs
  • a vehicle such as a light duty truck, SUV, or van so we may pick up & move large amounts of pet food
  • laptop computer, PC or Mac
  • postage machine and/or stamps
  • NEW & USED PET SUPPLIES
  • People interested in starting their own pet food assistance program in their area CONTACT US
  • Volunteers and storage/distribution space in or near Woodland Park, Old Colorado City, Falcon or Peyton, and Penrose so we may expand our services to include more of the Front Range area

Please CONTACT US or call (719) 217-9528 for more information on how to donate items or volunteer. If you are unable to provide any of these items, please consider making a DONATION so we may help as many pets as possible keep their homes. We accept previously opened bags of food as well as recently expired food (within the past week) as long as they are dry, mold-free, not prescribed by a veterinarian, and has not been previously recalled. The Pikes Peak Pet Pantry is here to help anyone in need feed their beloved pet during a financial hardship. Please note that our 501c3 nonprofit status is pending. Upon approval, any donations made after May 14, 2008 will be tax deductible.
